They came from the hills one day
stumbling lifelessly
a wave of jagged movement
crashing on the weak
self rightousness soon became
a carnal need to feast
as mindless hippies grew more mindless
in the streets
dreadlocks caked with blood
tie dies stained with brains
sandles dragging entrails
patchwork soaked with pus
Vegans feed on human flesh
eaten by the Hateful Dead
suck the brains from your kind head
eaten by the Hateful Dead
hemp and crystals around their necks
eaten by the Hateful Dead
don't bogart that human leg
eaten by the Hateful Dead
They grew their Devil weed
in a forgotten place
where government agencies
buried toxic waste
at first it was kind of hard to tell them apart
because zombies and hippies
look alike from the start
I thought I heard them say something...
something like, "Spare some change?"
but what they were really saying?
what they were really saying was...
"SPARE SOME BRAINS!!!"
by then it was far too late for us to disappear
as the air filled with the pungent smell
of patchouli and fear
Dreadlocks caked with blood
Tie dies stained with brains
Sandles dragging entrails
Patchwork soaked with pus
Vegans feed on human flesh
eaten by the Hateful Dead
suck the brains from your kind head
eaten by the Hateful Dead
hemp and crystals around their necks
eaten by the Hateful Dead
don't Bogart that human leg
eaten by the Hateful Dead
